Certification/Training

Kimbro's Training & Consultation Services is a training center that conducts courses in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid (FA) under the auspices of the American Heart Association . 

First Aid (FA) - provides general information for basic non-emergency and emergency care that may (or may not) include special topics in first aid such as burns, bites, fractures, snake bites, etc.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - provides the psychomotor skills that include information on emergency medical systems, activation, risk factors, prudent heart living, and the signals and actions for survival during life threatening emergencies.  Types of courses include Adult, Pediatric (Infant), Healthcare Provider, Instructor, and Instructor-Trainer.

Kimbro's Training & Consultaiton Services is currently certified to complete Adult, Pediatric (Infant), Healthcare Provider and First Aid certification.

 

Healthcare Provider CPR/AED/First Aid - $45 per person includes book.

 

Infant/Pediatric/Child/Adult CPR/AED - $45 per person plus the cost of book.

 

Infant/Pediatric/Child/Adult First Aid - $45 per person plus the cost of book.

 

Course Book - $15.00

 

Kimbro's Training & Consultation Services follow the guidelines set forth by Child Care Licensing, American Heart Association, & Residential Child Care. Our training includes:

  • A curriculum that is both written and hands-on
  • Skill-based, face-to-face instruction
  • Practice with the use of mannequins, and
  • Assessment/Testing
  • 2 year Certificate provided upon successful completion of the training requirement.

Replacement card fee - $35 per person per card.

 

Take CPR/AED & First Aid for $75 (includes books). 

Does not include Healthcare Provider

Online CPR/FA

American Heart Association offers the following courses online:

*BLS Healthcare Provider CPR (medical field personnel only)

*Heartsaver First Aid (childcare, fostercare, family, school employees, police officers, etc.)

*Basic CPR & AED (childcare, fostercare, family, school employees, police officers, etc.)

If you can not make an in-person class, take the course online by going to http://www.olineaha.org/ .

 

Once you successfully complete the online course, send an e-mail to stkimbrough@yahoo.com   to schedule your appointment for the skills test. Once you successfully pass the skills test you will receive your 2 year certification.

 

Skills test fee - $30 per person.
