Kimbro's Training & Consultation Services is a training center that conducts courses in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid (FA) under the auspices of the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.
Kimbro's Training & Consultation Services follow the guidelines set forth by Child Care Licensing, American Heart Association, American Red Cross & Residential Child Care. Our training includes:
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE FOR THE COURSE, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:
First Aid (FA) - provides general information for basic non-emergency and emergency care that may (or may not) include special topics in first aid such as burns, bites, fractures, snake bites, etc.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - provides the psychomotor skills that include information on emergency medical systems, activation, risk factors, prudent heart living, and the signals and actions for survival during life threatening emergencies. Types of courses include Adult, Child, Pediatric (Infant), & Healthcare Provider.

PLEASE NOTE: Class times may be shorter or longer depending on class size, location of class, how many questions are asked, how long it take participants to learn the skills, whether or not the participants are taking the course for the first time or whether or not the participants arer renewing their certification.

PROFESSIONAL RESCUER & HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CPR
PLEASE NOTE: Rescuer & Healthcare provider Certification cards are good for 2 years.
Professional Rescuer and/or Healthcare Provider - $50 (initial certification). This course is designed for Nurses, EMT's, Lifeguards, Firefighters, First Responders, Athletic Trainers, Physicians, Health care Professionals, Police Officers, Public Safety, Personnel, etc. Renewals - $50 per person

LAY RESPONDER CPR

Class Audit Only - $30 Renewals - $50 per person
First Aid/CPR/AED for the Workplace - $50. This course is designed for workers who need to meet certification requirements. Course can be modified to fit yoru specific business needs as the example classes listed below. Modified courses are available (EXAMPLE: CPR/AED, CPR Adult only, or CPR Adult + 1 injury control module).
FIRST AID

First Aid/CPR/AED for Schools and the Community - $50 Renewals - $50 per person
BLENDED LEARNING, REVIEW & CHALLENGE COURSES (Renewal Options)
Blended learning fee (after course is taken online) - $50
Review Course - $50 approximately 2 hours will be given to each participant to review the video segments and have an instructor there to assist them in the review course. Participants may make an appointment at anytime to come in and take the review course.
PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible to take the Review Course, participants must have previously taken and completed a previous course. Participants must provide the previous certification card. Participants who have an expired American Red Cross certificate may participate in the review course is that card is not more than 12 months old. Participants with cards more than 12 months old are not eligible to take the review course, but may take a Full course or a Challenge course.
Challenge Course - $50, approximately 2 hours. NO VIDEO OR REVIEW INSTRUCTION GIVEN. NO INSTRUCTOR ASSISTANCE. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST COME PREPARED TO TAKE THE WRITTEN AND SKILLS TEST.
PLEASE NOTE: No instruction will be provided for the Challenge course. Participants have the sole responsibility in preparing for the knowledge and skills tests. Anyone may take the challenge course. for participants who do not have an American Red Cross certification card may only take the challenge course once. If participant fails the written and/or skills test, a Full course will be required. Participants who have a current American Red Cross certificate (current or expired no more than 12 months old) may take the Challenge Course as many times as they wish.
